Lesson 3 - Develop Accuracy with Bow
Method:
1) Introduce methods of training and developing your hand-eye coordination in the use of your weapon and your accuracy
a) while standing still and
b) while moving.
2) Test your preparation for combat
-----------------------------------------------
Practice:
1) If your bow supports it, set "Short Range" arrows.
Once set, practice hitting the C.B.T. target while standing still at 10 meters, then 20 meters, then 30 meters... on up to 50 meters.
Notice the "ballistics" (the change in trajectory) of the short-range arrow that you must consider as you move farther away from the target. Goal: hit the target accurately and consistently, while standing closer, then farther, from the target.
2) If your bow supports it, set "Long Range" arrows.
Once set, practice hitting the C.B.T. target while standing still at 10 meters, then 20 meters, then 30 meters... on up to 50 meters.
Notice the "ballistics" (the change in trajectory) of the long-range arrow that you must consider as you move farther away from the target. Goal: hit the target accurately and consistently, while standing closer, then farther, from the target.
3) Position 2 or 3 C.B.T targets at the end of a range board, at different heights.
Repeat steps 1) and 2) above, but fire at each target in succession, then change your distance from the target.
4) Repeat steps 1) and 2), above, but move to the left, or to the right, as you shoot.

Preparation for Combat:
Preparation is a MUST LEARN in order to survive any engagement.
1) Learn to be vigilant. KNOW who's in your combat zone at all times.
2) Know your combat settings. Be prepared to go to them quickly and accurately.
3) Go to "Noon" in the sim. Use <Cmd>-<Shift>-<Y>, or
go to Menu, select <World>, pulldown select <Force Sun> (at the bottom), pulldown right submenu, select <Noon>
4) Draw your weapon and go to mouselook quickly. If attacking and TP into a battle, come in with weapon drawn.
